MoodNode in Claude and ChatGPT

Generate images, videos and music with your MoodNode account from Claude or ChatGPT. Results land in your MoodNode gallery.

Server URL

https://moodnode.ai/api/mcp

Sign in with your MoodNode account when asked. No API key needed.

Claude

Add MoodNode to Claude (opens Claude with MoodNode filled in).

  1. Open the Claude connect link (or Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector) and add MoodNode with the server URL.
  2. Click Connect, sign in to MoodNode and allow access.
  3. Ask Claude for an image or a video.

Free plans can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an owner adds MoodNode under Organization settings → Connectors, then each member connects it. Claude Code uses the same connector from your claude.ai account.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT settings, turn on developer mode, then add a custom MCP server (connector) named MoodNode with the server URL and OAuth sign-in.
  2. Sign in to MoodNode when ChatGPT asks, and allow access.
  3. Ask ChatGPT for an image or a video.

Custom MCP servers depend on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings: on a work account, an admin may need to allow them.

Other apps

Clients that sign in through a local (localhost) redirect, such as Cursor or Codex, are not supported yet.

How it works

  • Everything you make is saved to your MoodNode gallery and costs the same credits as in the app.
  • Anything over 50 credits is priced first: the assistant shows you the price and asks before it starts. Cheaper requests run right away.
  • The first time a tool would spend credits, Claude or ChatGPT asks you to allow it. Choose “Always allow” and it stops asking for that tool.
  • A retried request, or the same quote, never charges twice.
  • Disconnect any time in MoodNode: Settings → Connected Apps.

Same rules as the app: see the Acceptable Use Policy and pricing.

Try asking

  • Make a square product shot of a ceramic mug on a linen tablecloth, soft morning light.
  • Turn my latest MoodNode image into a 5 second video with a slow push-in.
  • Three poster ideas for a jazz night, 9:16, then animate the best one.
