Yes. Sign up with Google and you get 60 free credits, and the Free plan gives you every node type, unlimited projects, and 100 MB of cloud storage. After that, bring your own API keys (BYOK) at the provider's price. Paid plans start at $14/mo for platform credits so you don't need API keys at all.

MoodNode supports 140+ models across image, video, and text generation. Image models include Flux, DALL-E 3, Stable Diffusion, Ideogram, Imagen, Recraft, Seedream, and Grok Imagine. Video models include Kling, Runway Gen-4, Veo, Wan, Seedance, Luma Ray 3.2, Hunyuan, MiniMax, and PixVerse. Text models include GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini. New models are added regularly.

Absolutely. That is the core idea behind MoodNode. You can chain any combination of models in a single workflow — for example, use GPT-4 to write a prompt, feed it into Flux to generate an image, run Style DNA to analyze the result, then send it to Kling for video generation. Each model is a node you connect on the canvas.

It depends on your use case. Flux is excellent for photorealistic images and style consistency. DALL-E 3 is strong at following complex prompts. Ideogram handles text in images well. Stable Diffusion offers the most control with ControlNet inputs. Grok Imagine is fast and affordable. MoodNode lets you try all of them side by side so you can pick the best one for each project.

Yes. MoodNode supports multiple video generation models including Kling (O3 Pro, O3 Standard, V3), Runway Gen-4, Veo 3.1, Wan 2.7, Seedance 2.0, Luma Ray 3.2, Hunyuan, MiniMax, PixVerse v6, and more. You can generate videos from text prompts or from images, with control over duration, aspect ratio, and camera movement.

BYOK stands for Bring Your Own Key. Instead of paying MoodNode a markup on each generation, you add your own API keys from providers like fal.ai, OpenAI, or Replicate and pay them directly at their rates. This gives you full control over costs and removes any middleman pricing.

MoodNode supports BYOK for fal.ai (Flux, Kling, Stable Diffusion, Wan, and many more), OpenAI (DALL-E, GPT-5), Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini / Vertex AI (Gemini, Imagen, Veo 3.1), OpenRouter (hundreds of LLMs and image models through one key), Replicate, Runway, and Luma. Yes. Add your OpenRouter API key and unlock hundreds of LLMs plus image generation through a single provider — Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama, and more — all billed through your OpenRouter account with zero MoodNode markup. One key gives you access to the entire OpenRouter catalog.

Yes. Bring your own Google Gemini or Vertex AI API key and generate Veo 3.1 video directly from inside the canvas. You pay Google's published API rates with zero MoodNode markup. Veo 3.1 Lite is also supported through Vertex AI for the budget tier.

Using MoodNode with your own API keys is free on the Free plan. You pay the AI providers directly for each generation at their published rates — MoodNode adds no markup. The only costs are between you and the API provider.

Yes. Your API keys are stored only in your browser's local storage, and MoodNode never stores or logs them. Most calls go directly from your browser to the AI provider. Runway calls pass through our server, which forwards your key with that one request and does not keep it.

Style DNA is a node that analyzes any image and breaks down its visual characteristics — color palette, mood, composition, and artistic style. You can feed the results into generation nodes to guide your next image in the same direction. It works with photos, illustrations, and AI-generated images.

Yes. You can save any workflow as a reusable template with one click. Name it, and start new projects from it later. Templates preserve all node connections, settings, and prompts. You can also browse pre-built templates to get started quickly.

Yes. The Sprite Sheet node lets you split any image into frames, preview the animation, and export as a GIF or sprite atlas. This is designed for game developers who need character animations, walk cycles, or tilesets from AI-generated art.

Yes. The Extract Prompt node uses AI to analyze any image and generate a detailed text description of it. You can feed this prompt into generation nodes to recreate or remix the style. It works with photos, illustrations, and AI-generated images alike.

MoodNode has four plans. Free ($0) includes BYOK access and 100 MB storage. Starter ($14/mo) includes 1,200 platform credits and 10 GB storage. Pro ($39/mo) includes 4,500 credits and 50 GB storage. Business ($59/mo) includes 7,200 credits and 100 GB storage. One-time credit packages are also available starting at $7 for 500 credits.

The Free plan includes 60 welcome credits (with Google sign-in), all node types, unlimited projects, 100 MB cloud storage, 5 free agentic workflow builds per day, and full BYOK support. Once the welcome credits are used, bring your own API keys or buy credits; the workspace itself stays free with no time limit.

Credits are MoodNode's built-in currency for AI generation. Each model costs a different number of credits — for example, a single image with Grok Imagine costs about 4 credits, while a 5-second video varies by model. Subscription credits refresh monthly. You can also buy one-time credit packages with no subscription required. Credits mean you don't need to manage your own API keys.

Yes. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) is available on every plan, including Free. If you have your own API keys, you pay the provider directly and MoodNode charges nothing extra. You can mix both approaches — use credits for some models and your own keys for others.
