Acceptable Use Policy

MoodNode is an independent creative workspace built on top of third-party AI models. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the companies that make those models. This policy explains what you may and may not create with it. It applies to every generation, whether it runs on platform credits or on your own API key (BYOK), and it forms part of our Terms of Service.

MoodNode does not allow sexual content of any kind. You may not create:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive images, video, or audio
• Nudity or partial nudity, including "undressing" a person in an image
• Any sexualised depiction of minors, real or fictional, which may also be reported to the authorities
• Content marketed or labelled as NSFW, uncensored, or adult

• No face swapping: you may not replace a real person's face in an image or video
• No deepfakes: you may not make a real person appear to say or do something they did not, without their consent
• No impersonation of real people, brands, or organisations in a way that could mislead
• Only upload photos of people when you have the right and, where required, their consent

You may not use MoodNode to create or spread content that:

• Is illegal where you live or where it is published
• Depicts graphic violence, self-harm, or cruelty in order to shock or glorify it
• Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or hatred against protected groups
• Harasses, threatens, bullies, or defames anyone
• Infringes copyright, trademarks, or someone's right of publicity
• Is designed to deceive: fake documents, fake news presented as real, fraud, or scams

• Do not try to bypass our content filters or those of the AI providers we use
• Do not abuse free credits, referral rewards, or create accounts to evade limits
• Do not scrape, resell, or automate access to the service without permission
• Do not attempt to hack, overload, or reverse-engineer the service

Generations that run on platform credits have their prompt screened before anything is generated: by our own filters, by our payment provider's content-screening service, and by the safety systems of the AI providers we route to. A prompt refused at this stage is never charged, and a generation an AI provider refuses is refunded. Generations on your own API key are also subject to that provider's safety systems and to this policy. Repeated attempts lead to suspension, and sexual content involving minors leads to an immediate ban and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Filters are not perfect. You remain responsible for everything you generate, upload, and publish, whether or not a filter caught it.
